ERCAC center based laboratory was built in 2003. It is Ministry of construction accredited for conducting a wide range R&D of Architecture coating, paints, additives and manufacturing and construction equipments and techniques. This accreditation meets the requirements of ISO 9000 and ISO 14000.

Research remains a core activity with laboratory. Directed towards special needs of ERCAC memberships and clients, our research activities fall within the broad categories of Appearance, Durability and Environmental of coatings.

Our main research fields include:
  Research for Industrialization of efficient architectural coating material and additives.
  Develop excellent pigment and filler; promote the manufacturing technology for additives.
  Develop high performance synthetic resin stuff and guarantee high performance of architectural coatings.
  Develop the database of standard formula for architectural coating manufacturing and related software.
  Develop advanced coating manufacturing techniques.
  Transfer of technological achievement for modern manufacturing equipment.
  Develop advanced finishing construction technology
  Research the standard related to the production and standard construction of architectural coating.
  Study and promotion of architectural coating related information.

There are two labs already being opened which are Lab of Advanced Coating Technique and Related Products and Lab of Color Application Technique.
